Bar‑top corking is used when the closure is part of the finished pack presentation. The machine has to do more than push a stopper into a bottle: it must keep the bottle stable, protect the visible top, insert the shank squarely and leave the closure at a repeatable finished height. That makes the bottle neck and the closure design equally important.

The change is not simply about speed; it is about whether the approved closure can be fed and inserted consistently over a shift.

Consistent bottles and closures, repeated production, stable feeding behaviour and a clear output target can justify automatic orientation and integrated bottle flow.
Evidence that reduces project risk
- Photograph the accepted finished bottle from front, side and above.
- Measure finished height from a fixed datum, not by eye.
- Record bottle and closure supplier references and batch details.
- Test restart, feeder refill and normal line interruptions with representative samples.
- Confirm the handover point to filling, labelling, coding, packing or manual handling.
