What quality checks should be used after T‑cork insertion?

Should T‑cork inspection be manual or automatic?

Manual inspection can be suitable for small runs and subjective cosmetic checks. Automatic or assisted inspection becomes more relevant where output is higher, the reject decision must be consistent, or downstream equipment cannot tolerate tilted or high closures.

Can the corking machine guarantee removal force?

The machine can control seating conditions, but removal force depends on the bottle and closure fit, shank material, storage state and test method. Retention acceptance should therefore be defined with a repeatable test rather than assumed from machine stroke alone.

What should be recorded during a T‑cork trial?

Record the bottle batch, closure batch, machine setting, support tooling, sample count, finished-height results, cosmetic observations, rejects, restarts and any changes made during the test.
